The Lion’s Club is a global service organization focused on improving health, strengthening communities and promoting international understanding through local and global service. The organization’s core mission is “we serve” with focus on areas like vision care, hunger, diabetes, youth and environmental concern. The Sauk Centre Lions Club maintains the beautiful Lions Fairy Lake Park which is available for everyone to enjoy. Just a few of the service projects for the community include Nursing Home Bingo, food drive, senior citizens fall drive, Soles4Souls, eye glass & hearing aid collection, children’s eye screening and collaborating with Special Olympics. The club does numerous fundraising events…the biggest being the annual Lions Pancake Breakfast held the first Sunday in February…normally serving over 1500 individuals! Lions…..we serve!
